Born in Yorkshire in 1964. Fiona's work is noticeably influenced by landscape, The forces creating it, and by human impact upon it.

Each piece is hand-built and bisque fired to 980º. The final firing is Raku, the drama of which appeals to her both as a maker, and as an appropriate way to finish the work.

Fiona completed her HND course in design Crafts in 2003. [Distinction] She specialised in ceramics, in the Raku process, and is skilled in Kiln building.
